Maltese spring

Spring Maltese

Maltese Spring

I don’t know how

these flowers are disguised

all winter and

when they arise

so delicate,

simply ask for nothing

from the shining sun.

This spring that inspires and

Undresses us in the winter

that cooled our souls.

This makes us start

on the strength of enchantment

without such measures.

Flowers are born

wind dancers in the show

singularity of each soul

islanded and unarmed.

At first delight

of spring on this island

opening for a flora in party

makes me live,

with my soul into nudity,

this reticent spring.
